The Role:  Founding VP of Sales

 

As Entegrata’s first dedicated  sales leader, you will own all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Reporting to the Founder, you'll set the foundation for generating, tracking, and closing your own pipeline. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive growth.


You’ll set the stage for a world-class sales motion, shape how we sell, and contribute to the broader direction of the company as a key member of the leadership team.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of Entegrata’s customers, product, and the industry

  • Partner with the Founder to work on existing opportunities while learning how to successfully sell and demo Entegrata

  • Manage and track the pipeline; take ownership of the CRM

  • Generate meetings and pipeline

  • Figure out how to turn current sales motion into a repeatable/teachable process and document it

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver an excellent all-around customer and product experience

  • Own all aspects of deal management through close

  • Contribute beyond sales as needed as a member of the core leadership team

  • Hit the revenue goal

 

About You

You are:

  1. Hungry and biased to action. You are comfortable finding your own way into any account, and starting from scratch. You don’t need a lead-gen organization to be successful. You generate a high volume of activities every day; you automate them if possible, but do it manually if not.

  2. Dedicated to the Process. You are opinionated about how great a sales process runs, and you bring your own frameworks to enact that process. But you will not let process get in the way of speed, flexibility, or results.

  3. Experienced with large customers and deals. You have managed and closed six-figure deals  for complex customers. You can creatnicke and drive a process for the deal, and you have tactics and strategies to manage the various hurdles typical to these deals. You’re comfortably able explain your process both at a high level and in detail.

  4. Team-Oriented. You work seamlessly across functions. No task is too small; “Not my job” isn’t in your vocabulary.

  5. Executive Credibility – You can confidently engage with C-level leaders and speak their language.

Scorecard

 By when will we know you’re on track?

  • By Week 2: Initial meetings booked with target accounts; pipeline in motion

  • By Day 30: Learn the product and the problem.  CRM fully operational; sales methodology defined and in use

  • By Day 60: Early-stage deals in the pipeline; cross-functional partnerships underway

  • By Day 90: First deals are in redline; repeatable motion beginning to form
