Entegrata is proud to announce that it has achieved Security, Confidentiality and Privacy SOC2 Type 1 certification in accordance with the standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SOC 2 is a technical auditing process conducted by independent auditors to measure the security of an organization’s unique data processing systems and ultimately determine whether effective safeguards and controls are in place.
Most organizations aiming for SOC2 just achieve the Security designation, but going through the additional rigor of adding Confidentiality and Privacy were important steps for us to ensure the utmost level of protection and compliance for our customers. Our attainment of SOC 2 Type 1 certification not only signifies our dedication to security, but also brings tangible benefits to our valued customers. With this certification, our customers can rest assured that their sensitive data is handled with the utmost care and protection, meeting rigorous industry standards. By adhering to SOC 2 Type 1 requirements, we have established a robust framework for safeguarding information, ensuring that our systems maintain the highest levels of security. As we embark on this certified journey, our customers can expect a fortified platform that prioritizes the safety of their data, reinforcing our pledge to deliver a secure and reliable experience.
Entegrata made the decision to pursue SOC 2 certification to demonstrate its commitment to its customers that it takes data security seriously. “Protecting customer data is one of the most fundamental obligations in establishing trust – doubly so when those customers are in the legal industry - the stakes are too high,” says Tom Baldwin, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Entegrata continues to invest in security, as evidenced by its ongoing pursuit of SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which it anticipates receiving in the first quarter of 2024.
