Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a multi-faceted self-starter who wants to help reimagine the way that law firms engage with data. As a Data Engineer with Entegrata, you will hit the ground running in order to build new data pipelines and analytic solutions for our product. Our ideal candidate is passionate about groundbreaking technology, a self-starter, who enjoys creativity, and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements to technical solutions
Support the planning and implementation of data services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments
Design and Build Modern Data Pipelines
Consume Data Service APIs as part of an ETL process
Develop and maintain data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics.
Expose data to end users in a dimensional model
Implement CI/CD best practices
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years data engineering experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
Expert level experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL Server and data lake architectures is required
Expert level SQL skills
Experience in data architecture, data quality and dimensional data modeling.
Coding proficiency in Python with additional focus on PySpark
Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub/Azure DevOps)
Expertise with schema design and development, relational databases and SQL.
Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows
The ability to apply methods to solve business problems using one or more Azure Data and Analytics services in combination with building data pipelines and system integrations
Experience with data catalog, ingestion, cleaning/matching, streaming, pipeline, orchestration tools
Knowledge in business intelligence tools such as Power BI
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience preparing data for Data Science and Machine Learning
Experience working in a law firm or legal environment, and expertise with a wide range of core legal business applications (e.g. Elite 3E, Aderant, iManage, NetDocuments, Intapp, etc) preferred, not required
Experience with Open AI, Microsoft Cognitive Services and Machine Learning
Experience working as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies
Experience working for a SaaS product company
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
